CECILE YVETTE ROBERTS It is with great sadness that the family of Cécile Yvette Roberts, announces her passing after a lengthy battle with cancer, on April 13, 2016, at the age of 72. We would like to thank Dr. Daeninck and his team at St. Boniface Hospital, who took wonderful care of Cécile for 16 years. As well, the compassionate team at St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, who became family during these important last four months of her life. Cécile invites you to celebrate her life with prayers at the Holy Cross Parish (252 Dubuc Street) on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m. and to celebrate the Mass of Resurrection at Holy Cross Parish on Thursday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cécile's memory to the Palliative Care Unit at: St-Boniface Hospital Foundation, C1026 - 409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

  • I am very sorry for your loss Chantal. I truly loved your mom. She was an extremely special person. She always gave everyone spiritual strength around her and brightened everyone's lives. I last saw her with my mom Gwen at Wendy's and we chatted a little bit. I know for sure she has gone to heaven and will watch upon all of you.   • Hi Chantel. I met you and your charming grandaughter in the lounge on the 8th floor. Your mom was in room 25 and my mom was in 29. I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My mom (Victoria Pushka) passed the next day. We are very fortunate of the care they received in their final days. I wish you all the very best.
