VICTORIA PUSHKA Peacefully, with family at her side, Victoria passed away April 14, 2016 at the age of 84. Victoria was born in Birtle, MB on May 24, 1931. She is survived by her children Laverne (Ken), Ken (Allyson), and Michelle (Corey); grandchildren Jordan, Lyndsay, Erik, and Jillian. Victoria was predeceased by her husband Peter, her brothers Frank, Chester Nick, Michael, and Roy; her sisters Mary, Cassie, Lena, Nellie, Margaret, and Ann, and by her parents Anastasia and Anthony. Victoria spent her early years on the family farm. She married Peter in 1951, and together they created a loving home in Winnipeg. Family was the most important aspect of her life. She was a wonderful mom, a caring baba, and a friend to many. Victoria was a wonderful and creative cook, and the family dinners were special times for her. She was a founding member of St. Anne's Parish, and was a long time parishioner at St. Basil's. She will be greatly missed and remembered as a kind, caring, and loving person. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. The family would like to especially thank the St. Boniface Palliative Care staff (8A) for their kindness and care.
