Ben was predeceased by wife Marie Sinclair; mother Agnes St.Croix (nee Porier); father; Camille St.Croix; brothers, Marcel and Maurice; stepdaughter Colleen (Earl); stepsons, Patrick and Bernard. Surviving relatives, brother Art (Brenda); sons, Morris and Camille (Carol); daughter Valerie Vandel; son Larry Eaglestick; stepdaughters, Carol (Wayne), Eve (Gerald), Maureen, Tammy (Randy); stepsons, Dave (Bridgette), Thornton (Kim), Alexander, Rene (Nancy), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wake services have begun on Wednesday evening and will be held at the home on of Rene O'Laney at #51035 South Shore in Sagkeeng. Viewing will be until 1:00 p.m. Friday April 22 with closed casket at the Church. The funeral will commence at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Sagkeeng First Nation. Cremation will take place following the service with interment at a later date.
