ARMANDO CABRAL Peacefully, with family at his side, Armando passed away on April 18, 2016 at the age of 79 years. He leaves behind to treasure his memories, his beloved wife of 53 and one half years, Maria, his nine children: John (Lucy), Maria (Eric), Tony (Doug), Paul, Armando (Lily), Theresa, Victor, Mabel (Carlos), and Nelson, 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held Monday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. North. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue West.

He was a good man with a kind heart. He and I spent a lot of time together when he first arrived in Canada. I regret that over the years we didn't stay in contact as often as we could have. To his wife and family my deepest condolences, be strong he's with God and his brothers and sisters in heaven.Take comfort in knowing that where he is now he's not suffering anymore and is watching over us all.
