BRENDA DIANE MACMILLAN (nee OELKERS) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Diane MacMillan on April 26, 2016 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 72. Brenda was predeceased by her parents, George and Tillie. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Amelia Rigby (Rick Kuczek), Patricia Yake (Gary), Grant (Cristina) and Keith (Shannon); grandchildren Ryland, Logan, Catriona, Carson, Edgar and Carla; brother John Oelkers and sister Marilyn Boland (Oelkers) Brenda enjoyed her time at West Hawk Lake with family. After 30 years at the WRHA, Brenda enjoyed a great retirement with many travel adventures, shopping and playing Bridge. The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Nadine Lecuyer, Alma and the wonderful team on LODGE 6 East (Deer Lodge), and Grace Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She was a wonderful and friendly person whom I enjoyed her loving & caring attitude toward everyone she worked with.
