SHAUN CARLILE BEATTIE Shaun passed away March 28, 2016 following a three month period of hospitalization and care provision, as a result of a fall at his residence in Auburn, California. He was born on June 18, 1931 in Winnipeg, Canada. Shaun leaves to mourn his two daughters Kim and Kelly, and grandsons Christian, Luke and Cody, all in California, and brothers Lorne (Polly) and Aubrey in Winnipeg. He was predeceased his son Kenneth, his parents Walter and Annie Beattie, and his wife Marie Eagle. Shaun grew up in Winnipeg, attended Lord Roberts and Kelvin High Schools and was employed thereafter by the CNR Fort Rouge Shops and in Dauphin prior to moving to Oakland, CA, where he worked with several firms in his occupation as a machinist. Shaun retired in the mid eighties in San Francisco for a period, before moving to Paradise, CA where they resided until Marie's passing.
