SOPHIE HYKAWAY It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Sophie on April 28, 2016 at the Maples Personal Care Home. Sophie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be profoundly missed by her children, sons Alan (Sandie), Wayne (Judy), Bob (Betty) and Paul (Tammy), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sophie enjoyed entertaining folks at weddings and other social events by playing her violin with Dad on the drums in her band called "Sophie's Band". Joseph and Sophie are now reunited in Heaven. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway. Private interment to follow.
