FREDERICK WALDO MCELHOES September 28, 1929 - May 4, 2016 Peacefully on May 4, 2016 at the Misericordia Hospital, Fred passed away at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving wife Jeannine, his sister Mary-Jane, sister-in-law Jean, brothers-in-law Jim, Brian and Larry, children Randy (Cathy), Anne (Scott), stepchildren Jeannette (Len), Muriel (Chuck), Rick (Laura), Helen (George), Louise (Floyd), many grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Fred is predeceased by his parents Grace and Mac, his first wife Betty, brother Richard, brother-in-law Ron and grandson Bruce. He had many careers such as a Real Estate Appraiser, Carrier for Winnipeg Post Office and co-owner of Westbay Products. Fred's greatest passions were building and flying model airplanes where they attended many Sam Champ Competitions. He enjoyed many years of building and sailing his own boats and looked forward to his daily outings to Salisbury House. We could always find him watching the History Channel with his cat Wilson. Another love was vacationing with Jeannette and Alex. We wish to thank the staff at Misericordia Hospital for the special care he received.
