I remembered today the last time I saw uncle waldemar. It was about 2 weeks ago, and at first he didn't recognize me. When he did remember he immediately started to talk about my wedding (about 6 years ago) speaking of it like it was yesterday. I will always remember the great memories you gave me, and how sincere and thoughtful you always were to me and my family uncle waldemar. You will forever be in my heart, and your memory will stay strong. - Posted by: Allison (Great niece) on: May 20, 2016

Uncle Waldemar was the GOOD uncle. we used to live not far apart in Charleswood and had many a good time together. I built his garage while he lived there. as youngsters he would take me and Alex fishing at Lockport where we mostly caught catfish. We then moved to British Columbia in 1982 but when we made it back to Winnipeg we almost always made it a point to visit him. He was a great storyteller especially when the family was gathered at my mothers home in Winnipeg and sometimes the stories took on a life of their own especially the ones from the wartimes when he and his brother had to supply food for the family. Uncle is in a much better place now and he will be reunited with the family that has gone on before - Posted by: Fred Kraubner (nephew) on: May 18, 2016
