I'm going to start off by saying how sorry I am for the loss to the Stangl family. I was very fortunate to meet Jim a handful of times and enjoy his warmhearted company. It's so easy to see why his daughter, my best friend, has such a a big heart and is always laughing and cracking a joke. Her father loved to talk to anyone and would embrace them no matter who they were. Thank you for being you and giving me the gift of having your daughter in my life, I am thankful everyday. People like you are irreplaceable. Even though I can't be there with you person my thoughts and prayers are with you all and I wish you peace. We got to know Jim from our mornings when we went for coffee at McDonald's by the Winnpeg Tax Centre. He told us that he was recovering from cancer but we didn't know how bad it was. We are both shocked to hear about his passing and our condolences to his family. He never had a bad thing to say about anybody and had a positive attitude. We always remembered the day a crazy young woman came in and it always made us laugh. We will never forget you, Jim and you will be sadly missed. Until we meet again for coffee at McDonald's in the sky! - Posted by: Duncan and Jo-Anne (Friend and coffee buddies) on: Jun 02, 2016

I had the pleasure of knowing Jim through his daughter Cindy and son-in-law Jurgen. Such a charismatic man. Always made me laugh and made me feel part of the family. He will be missed but not forgotten. Thank you for being a part of my life. - Posted by: Darlynne McKenna (Friend) on: Jun 02, 2016
