LOUISE JEAN ROYKO Louise Jean Royko was born November 15, 1929 in Strathclair, Manitoba. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 86. Louise is survived by her five children Brenda (Duncan), Doreen, Gerry (Janice), Karen (Jim) and Glenn, eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Malcolm and Maria McMillian, eight siblings, husband Steve Royko, daughter Cheryl and her grandson Robbie. Louise and her husband Steve enjoyed camping with their children and grandchildren in Otter Falls, Clear Lake, Minnesota and Bird's Hill. Louise loved all flowers and gardening but her favorite were red geraniums. The family agrees that she had a unique sense of humor, comedy and wit that came out whenever family gathered. Special thanks to her doctor of forty years Dr. Ismail Mohammed and the wonderful staff at Concordia Hospital for their comfort and support which was much appreciated in her last days. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
