Darry is survived by his son Kim Powell; brother Grant (Marianne) Paterson; and nephews, Logan and Mathias. He was predeceased by his brother Russell. Darry worked for 32 years at Emco Supply in Calgary. He loved fishing, camping and woodworking. As per his request, a private scattering ceremony will be held at a later date.
