DARRYL JAMES BERGEN April 21, 1968 - June 11, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darryl at the age of 48; on Saturday, June 11, 2016 after a short illness with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his nephew Jason. Left to mourn Darryl is his wife Leanne, who was the love of his life. There was nothing more he loved than to spend time with her. He will also be lovingly remembered by his parents, Jake and Mary, siblings Danny (Maryanne), Gloria (Wayne), in-laws Maureen (Ralph), Shawn (Mel) and Cori; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Darryl was always the first person to help anyone in need and put others before himself. Darryl worked numerous years at New Hope Transport along side owner Jake Peters; a job he loved. Memorial Service will be held at Soul Sanctuary, 2050 Chevrier Blvd., on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3. I cant even put into words how much we miss you, i sang amazing grace for you in remebrance of the day God took you up to be a spirit in the sky.
