Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • My deepest sympathies to Brenda and Robert for you loss. Mark was like a brother to me, I was always at The Fontaine house with Brenda. (so he bugged me like he did Brenda). He was fun loving and a great artist! He will be sadly missed. He was a wonderful guy. - Posted by: Samantha (Friend) on: Jun 21, 2016

  • Mark was a bright light as Arlene mentioned we witnessed his special friendship with her niece, such a kind man. I can imagine he would be pleased to be her guardian angel. It was always a joy to see him at church, and greeted with his hand shake and pray beside him. He was also a true fellow Trekkie and Whovian. We had many discussions of adventures he was writing about, or movies he enjoyed. He spoke so highly of his family and friends, our condolences to you, he will be missed. - Posted by: l'aura and Danny Carroll (friends from church ) on: Jun 21, 2016

  • Mark was a bright light in my 4 1/2 year old niece's Sunday. She formed a bond with Mark and looked forward to coming to 11:00 a.m. mass on Sundays so she could see "her best friend", talk to him and give him a hug. She also said when she grew up she was "going to marry Mark". She, like many of us, found out about Mark's passing at 11:00 a.m. mass yesterday, my niece was inconsolable. She loved Mark dearly. We have told her that Mark is free from pain and is now her guardian angel and is looking down at her from above. Mark, your smile gave many of us joy and though and your "spot" in your pew is now empty, you will always be thought of fondly. My deepest condolences to his family. - Posted by: Arlene La Joie (fellow parishioner) on: Jun 20, 2016

  • Mark was a constant prayer filled presence at the 11:00 a.m. mass each Sunday at St. Bernadette Parish. He was supportive and kind and willing to talk movies whenever we chatted. My deepest condolences on your loss. He will be missed. - Posted by: Maureen Ferley (Fellow Parishioner) on: Jun 20, 2016
