MICHAEL JAMES MOONEY November 11, 1987 - June 20, 2011 Five years have passed without you here, It feels so wrong not to have you near. Not a day goes by we don't think of you And the amazing young man you grew into. The memories you left us make us ache For all the memories we still should make. Yet the world keeps turning and the days go by But for those who knew you with each day we cry. For at every occasion and happy time We only wish that you could be by our side. As we go through our days we think of you You're still around us in everything we do A song, a quad, the number 22 A smile from a stranger who looked like you. All bring us back to a time before And make us ache for just one more. One more chance to hear you laugh out loud Or to see you holding Paige looking so proud. There's still a hole here in our hearts Since that tragic day that you did part. But you are not gone we feel you still You're all around us and always will. You're in our hearts, we hold you dear As we wipe away another tear. Michael it's been five years since we have seen your handsome, smiling face or heard your infectious laugh. It seems like yesterday and forever all at the same time. We miss you more every day. We can't put into words how much we wish you were here. We think of you always and love your forever. Mom, Dad, Bill, Nadine, Paige and Owen If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, We'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
