NEAL McGINNIS Neal passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016 at Shaftesbury Park, Winnipeg, MB. Family meant everything to Neal and he will be missed by his five children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren (spouses) and nine great-grandchildren. Neal was very well known for his love of family, horses and was also well known in the Chuckwagon community. Funeral service for Neal will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 23, 2016 at the Nairn-chyz funeral Home, 325 Main Street West, in Roblin, MB. Lunch to follow. Interment for Neal and Ella will take place at the Makaroff Cemetery after lunch. In memory of Neal, suits are not required, Western wear is acceptable. Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Shaftesbury Park for everything you did for our father, as well as everything you helped us with at this most difficult time. Thank you to the Neil Bardal Funeral Centre in Winnipeg, MB for your caring and professional service. Thank you also to the Nairn-chyz Funeral home in Roblin, MB for all your help with our memorial service.

I, as many others, remember Uncle Neal for his horses. I most remember, however, Grandma (Elsie McGinnis) bragging over his MANY wins at the Calgary Stampede and many other races over the years.
