Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERARD (GERRY) DELORME November 20, 1937 - July 8, 2016 Peacefully, with family by his side, Gerry passed away at Ste. Anne's Hospital at the age of 78. Gerry was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lucie Delorme, and sisters Denise Dupuis, Germaine Darazs, and Laurette Delorme. He is survived by his wife Doralice "Dolly"; children Gilbert (Joelle), Alain, Suzanne (Daniel); second daughter Pamela (Peter); grandchildren Robert, Patrick, Micheal, and Mark; brothers Victor Delorme and Charles Delorme; sisters Jeannette Charette, Marie Cloutier, Blanche Guenette, and Clementine Delorme; and many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Gerry was born in St. Joseph, Manitoba and moved to St. Norbert in 1948. He met his wife Dolly in 1960, and were married in 1963. Gerry and Dolly began their family in St. Vital, and moved to Lorette in 1975. A plumber by trade, Gerry retired after 40 years of service. His loves were camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. As per Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later time. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Sister Irene Rioux, Sister Celine Vermette, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Ste. Anne's Hospital for their excellent physical and spiritual care during Gerry's stay. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry's memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or Ste.
