Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATTHEW KOLOSINSKI Matthew aged 95 of Winnipeg passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on July 18, 2016. Matt was born October 8, 1920 in Portage la Prairie, MB to Irene and John Kolosinski. He worked the family farm until duty called him to serve in the Canadian Forces in 1942. Matt had a long career in the RCAF in aircraft maintenance, retiring after 29 years of service and then pursued a career in public service as a civilian inspector for the Department of National Defence for 26 years until he retired to be a full time grandfather and enjoy gardening and car repair. Matt is survived by his wife Mary (nee Rehaluk) of 65 years; his son Dennis Kole and his wife Janet; his other son Wayne Kole and his wife Olivia (nee Thomson); and his grandchildren, Julia Kole and Justin Kole. Matt was predeceased by his brothers, Steve and Peter; his granddaughter Joslin Kole and the grandchildren's mother Linda Mann. Memorial services will be held in the Chapel at River Ridge Retirement Residence at 50 Ridgecrest Ave. on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in Matthew Kolosinski's name to a charity of your choice. seasonsfunerals.ca
