• My heartfelt condolences to the family on sudden passing of Viola Shupe affectionately known as Vi to all who worked with her and those she took care of. I had a long, memorable association with Vi through Pulford. Vi was my buddy,caretaker,support,companion in distress and a great psychological help. Vi had an ear for all my problems and often gave me good advice to cool my nerves. Vi helped me a lot in my life. To start with she got me a job at Safeway,volunteer work at the Canadian Diabetes, Meals on Wheels and Misricordia Hospital. Vi used to collect donations from businesses and arrange X-mas parties ,often cooking at home for all of us associated with her. Every Friday we used to go out with the whole gang for lunch together and took several trips as a team to places like Steinbach, Gimli, Selkirk and Lockport where we had a good relaxing time.There is a lot more and all my friends including Richard,Gary and John were greatly helped by Vi. VI ,you were a great friend, a good guide and a wonderful help for me. I can never forget you and will miss you a lot. My parents also will not forget what you have done for me ,nor will people at Pulford. Rest in Peace Vi, I know you are at a good place doing what you did here, helping others.
