HARRY THOMAS GREENFIELD The family and friends of Harry Greenfield sadly announce that he passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 88 years. Left to miss him deeply are his sister Joy Sheperd; children Susan (Real Alarie), Keith (Penny), and Paul (Jerri); grandchildren Ainsley (Matt Christensen), Christine (Stephen Rose), Melanie (Caleb Mangaard), and Chad (Amanda); and his great-grandchildren Ever, Coraline, Xander, Laelle, and Tavin. He will also be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews and their families, and by his many friends. Harry was predeceased by his wife Edna on February 5, 2015; brother Dick Greenfield on October 31, 2015; and by grandson Sean Greenfield on January 31, 2009. On February 21, 1928 Harry was born in Pinner, England. In 1950 he married Edna Berry and in 1957 they immigrated to Winnipeg where he spent the rest of his life. Harry worked in the Aerospace industry for over 25 years and ended his working life in his favourite career of school bus driver. He was an avid golfer and reader. Our family would like to invite you to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Anavets Assiniboia Unit #283, 3584 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, light lunch provided.
