ALICE MARIE BLANCHE (BOURDON) BAKUN Alice Marie Blanche (Bourdon) Bakun entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Victoria Hospital. Alice was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on July 12, 1936 and lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Alice was the 10th child, and 3rd daughter of the late Joseph and Adele Bourdon. Still living are her loving sisters, Angele Loner of Logansport, Indiana and Anita Oake of Rockford, Illinois. Other survivors include her son; five granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; two daughters-in-law; one grandson-in-law; extended family members, friends and many caring members of her church, Grant Memorial Baptist in Winnipeg. Services will be held Saturday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Thank you to sweet family members who surprised Alice with an 80th birthday celebration. A special thank you to her dear friends, Colleen, Lois, Maureen and Natalie, who lovingly spent time with Alice in her final days. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Grant Memorial Baptist Church or the Humane Society.
