EVELINE AUDETTE (nee DEBLOIS) June 5, 1946 - July 31, 2016 It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, Eveline, on July 31 shortly after celebrating her 70th birthday. She was predeceased by her beloved husband René, her parents, Ovide and Blanche, her brothers, Rosaire, Maurice, Marcel, Jean and her sisters Noella and Yolande. Mom is lovingly remembered by her children, Yvette (Rob) Druwe, Nicole (Gilles) Therrien, Russell (Melissa) Audette; her two precious granddaughters, Melyssa (Jordan) and Robyn, who brought her great joy. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Lorraine (George), Suzanne (Gordon), and her brother Paul (Marianne), extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mom loved to play Bingo and made many great friends. In earlier years, she cherished the many sleepovers and movie nights spent with her granddaughters. The girls had her playing cards for hours. Mom also loved listening to country music and her smile would brighten when Alan Jackson came on. On a beautiful summer day you could always catch her sitting in the backyard reading a good book. Please join us to celebrate her life at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Wednesday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. Respecting mom's wishes a private interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations can be made to a Pet Shelter of your choice in the memory of her "Boy" Riley and the stray cat "Tux" who stopped by for a treat every day. Thanks for always being there Mom, with love now and forever. Love you, Mémère! We hold you close within our hearts, and there you shall remain, to walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • To Russell, Nicole, Yvette and Family: Our most heart felt Condolences. Your Mother and Grand-Mother was a free spirited lovely lady who was always smiling and laughing. Having known Eveline for too short of a time she was always a delightful person who my wife and I enjoyed having shared some time with. We are so very saddened for your loss. It is very hard to lose a Mother who was truely a beautiful person. Rest in Peace Eveline. Jerry & Perry-Lynne - Posted by: Jerry & Perry-Lynne Kies (Family Friends) on: Aug 09, 2016

  • I am deeply saddened to hear of Eveline's passing. I will always remember the great times we had! My mom and I would go to bingo every week with her and Nicole and several others. I always had a great time and I looked forward to seeing these ladies every time. I will also miss our hen parties where we would get together for games and drinks. Eveline was a wonderful lady with a great sense of humour and a kind heart. It was a privilege to have known you. Rest in peace. • Our deepest sympathies to the family in this difficult time. We were neighbours for many years. Eveline was always very friendly and you could always count on her for support. Our kids, Richard and Marcel played together and she always had a treat for them. Leon played hockey on the same team as Rene. I was just looking at a picture of our boys with Russell yesterday. We send our hugs to the family. May all your great memories help you in this time of grief. She is back with her dear husband Rene and many more family members. Rest In peace my dear Eveline.
