Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSALEEN PATRICIA HARRISON (nee WHELAN) February 18, 1922 - August 6, 2016 Rosaleen Harrison peacefully passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on August 6, 2016. Rosaleen is survived by her three children Tom, Betty (Joe) and Rosaleen Jr. She also leaves to mourn her nephews Noel (Deloris) Joyce, Pat (Mauve) Joyce in Minneapolis and Desi Joyce in Ireland; nephew Richard (Belinda) Layla and Ellie Hammond in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Thomas, and her nephew Richard Hammond by two years in Winnipeg. Rosaleen was born in Dublin, Ireland and came to Canada in 1958. Mom worked as a hairdresser for many years and at the T. Eaton Company. Her hobbies included crocheting and gardening. She was also a great cook. Her loving, kind and generous nature will never be forgotten. We love you so much Mom. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for not only their care but also their appreciation of the woman she was. A service celebrating Rosaleen's life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or CancerCare Manitoba.
