Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES ARNOLD SHERWOOD December 18, 1938 - August 4, 2016 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of James "Jim" Arnold Sherwood on Thursday, August 4, 2016. James, aged 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Portage District General Hospital in Portage la Prairie, MB. He is survived by his children, Vernon (Heidi), Laurie, Hannah and Donna; his brother Jack; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He will be remembered as an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His many stories and the knowledge he shared will be missed by all that knew him. He always had a zest for life and made everyone he met feel welcome with his quick wit and jovial attitude. Our lives will not be the same without him and there will forever be an empty place in our hearts until we meet again one day. A celebration of life will be held in Jim's honour at the Holiday Inn Winnipeg South (1330 Pembina Highway) on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
