She was born May 17, 1942 in Talaba, Bacoor Cavite, Philippines. She was predeceased by parents, brothers and sisters. She will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Lamay (Viewing) will take place August 20, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 8:30 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Avenue, Winnipeg on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with interment on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Ester.. She was a terrific and wonderful lady who always had a smile for everyone She met.. Alicia worked with Ester in 1968 at PAE in the Philippines. She left shortly after that for Canada but We stayed in touch.
