Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) DAVID FORBES August 27, 1954 - August 22, 2016 Husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Jack spent most of his life in Rathwell, Manitoba. He married his wife Robyn in 1982 and together they raised six children. For a living Jack worked construction, farmed and drove truck. His favourite past-times included camping, hunting and fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and socializing with family and friends. Jack was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Forbes;brother Garrie and sister in-law Darlynn Wright. Left to remember Jack is his wife Robyn; children, Ashley (Adam), Shannon, Scott, Ross, Chantal and Breann; grandchildren, Nolan and Jade; siblings, Wilson (Janice) Forbes, Margaret Jane (Terry) Lamb, Carol (Everett) Loney, Murray (Karen) Forbes and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rathwell Memorial Hall. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

Met Jack back in high school. Lost touch and then met up again through Robyn when she and I worked together. I would often see him at Harmony Colony picking up gravel. Always a big smile. My condolences to Robyn and family and to the Forbes family. Good friend of mine,we trucked together for Collet Gravel in the mid 80`s.
