THEA BETTY PUHLMANN (nee DRYGALLA) May 20, 1927 - August 24, 2016 On August 24, 2016, Thea passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 89 years old. Thea was formerly of Hamburg, Germany. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Jens (Marion) and Jorg (Penny); precious grandchildren, Edwin and Thomas, Eric, Nicholas, and Allister; special cousin Peter Drygalla of Germany with whom she had a special bond and many friends. Thea was predeceased by her husband Herbert and parents. Upon Thea's wishes Honorary Pallbearers are Edwin, Thomas and Eric of Winnipeg, Nicholas of Edmonton, Allister of Winnipeg and Conner Michasiw of Edmonton. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 16102 Fort Road, Edmonton. Thea was a cancer survivor and in lieu of cards and flowers, please make a donation to Breast and Bowel Cancer Research.
