Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNNE ANN KNOX February 13, 1936 - September 2, 2016 Surrounded by family, during the early afternoon of Friday, September 2, 2016, Lynne Knox passed away peacefully. She is survived by her son Drew (Mag), daughter Janice, grandchildren Lainie, Kaitlin, Paige and Sean, her sister Kathleen, and many nieces and nephews. Lynne was predeceased by her loving husband Garnet Knox, sons Greg and Mitchell (infant), and brother Bruce. Lynne was born and raised in Winnipeg and enjoyed many fond memories at the summer cabin on Brereton Lake. She met Garnet Knox in high school and they were later married in 1956. Over the years they moved to several locations in N.W. Ontario and then returned to Winnipeg to raise their family. She worked as a stenographer, and later with Welcome Wagon. Her many passions included family camping trips, the outdoors, her dogs, painting, family gatherings, traveling and a true dedication to shopping and finding a good bargain! A celebration of her life will take place at a private family service. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Manitoba Chapter of the Children's Wish Foundation. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

Lynne and Garnet were our friends during our Elementary and High school years. We lived within a few blocks of each other and Garnet and I were "best men" at each others weddings. We spent fun times at the cottage at Brereton Lake Our lives and patterns changed over the years and as our families grew and Jobs removed us from the area we grew apart unfortunately.
