Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I worked with Dorothy in the last few years of my working career there. I was sad to see her go and had hoped to follow in yer footsteps. I'm happy to know that the tree was out there in her memory because she gave me the live she gave those kids to never give up. The pain I had in my life was too much to bear to attend her funeral and regret it. My life was forever changed and still mourn the loss of the job. Love always to her. She was the best woman and was a hard act to follow as Mr Schulz made it apparent that she was revered. She was a legend and she inspired me to continue painting. - Posted by: Miss R (Co worker) on: Oct 08, 2022

  • There are no words that can take the pain away from a husband who has lost his wife and partner, the children who have lost their Mother, and the siblings who have lost their sister, friend and confidant. May Dorothy’s love, her laugh, the memories you made, the life lessons that will always stay with you be her gifts to you. Hoping the beautiful memories and stories of Dorothy will bring some comfort as you find your way through this difficult time. Dorothy touched numerous people’s lives, in many positive ways, and will be missed by many. Dorothy would want no tears. She would want people to remember her in the good times, and laugh when remembering her during those times. With heart felt sorrow and sympathy. - Posted by: Marie Schram (Friend from Dowling, Ontario) on: Sep 09, 2016

  • Dorothy was an amazing lady, who touched the lives and hearts of everyone she came in contact with. I will always remember her laugh, kindness and positive outlook on life. Dorothy wore the best and sometimes most eccentric earrings she could find (in clip ons) and wore them proudly. Her love of animal print clothing inspired us soul sistas to wear it on occasion and have the greatest time doing so,I will miss you dearly my friend. Love you to the moon and back Dot, love ya Pat - Posted by: Patricia Kokan (Soul sister) on: Sep 07, 2016
