Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMACARIO (JOLLY) PANGILINAN On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, Macario "Jolly" Pangilinan peacefully passed away at the age of 61, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Boniface Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Jolly is survived by his beloved wife Susana Versoza Pangilinan, daughters Jan-Michelle (BJ Aldana), Jona-Marie and Angela Joy (Colin Campbell), mother Pelagia, sisters and brothers Melchora (George), Manuel, Elena (Luis), Julieta, Peter (Irene), Felix (Ligia), and Rizalina and their families and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Angelo on September 23, 2013. Jolly was born in the Philippines where he married his true love, Susan. He immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1985 where they began their family. Family was very important to Jolly. He loved spending time with his children, nieces and nephews and their children. Jolly could be found going for walks around the neighbourhood, fishing, singing karaoke and making people laugh. He could always make you smile and feel welcomed. Jolly's loving, caring and happy spirit has left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Friday, September 16, 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 Midnight, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with Prayers being said at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Parish, 836 Arlington St. with the interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family wish to thank the staff of Health Sciences Centre, CancerCare and St. Boniface Hospital for their loving care given to Jolly and his family.
