BISMARK ESPINELI June 13, 1938 - September 11, 2016 Peacefully, on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the age of 78, "Papa" Bismark Espineli, surrounded by his family and friends, passed away to be with the Lord at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Bismark is survived by his wife, Sally Fernandez; daughter Bles (Daniel) Balverde; three grandchildren, Kristopher, April and Aariel; his brothers, Marito and Normito Espineli, his sister Greta Loyola and many loving great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Winnipeg, Philippines and abroad. He was predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Demetria Espineli. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1996 and worked as a production worker for many years at Amphenol TPI company until he retired in 2008. The simple things in life made him smile - he loved fishing, going for walks and playing chess with his buddies at Garden City mall. He enjoyed cooking for his grandkids, gardening, crossword puzzles, movies, watching Filipino channel and karaoke. He was also an avid collector of hats. Bismark was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. He'll be greatly missed but forever remembered and loved. The family would like to thank the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, ICU department for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Bismark and family. A special thank you to the staff of Emergency Department and 5th Floor medicine department for the loving care and support during time spent in hospital. Lamay/ Viewing will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016, commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening with Pastor Junie Josue officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment of cremated remains will be at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB at a later date.
