BENGEN December 28, 1927 - September 3, 2016 Peacefully on Saturday, September 3 Claus passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Klara in 2015. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Brigitte, as well as her children Derek (Tannis), Kara, and his great-granddaughter Emma Stannard. Also remembered by his sons Helmut, Manfred, Ludwig and their families in Ontario, and Klaus in Alberta. Claus was also predeceased by his first wife Ursula and daughter Heidi. The family would like to extend a special thank you to staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their caring and compassion while Claus was in their care. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
