HELEN ALICE PUGH (nee HAYES) Helen Alice (Hayes) Pugh was an Ontario country girl from a family of four sisters, who married a dashing RCAF officer, Jim Pugh. Mom became a world traveler, raising Jeff and Virginia and a variety of dogs along the way. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and an important part of the lives of so many others. Mom's absence is now the empty sound when the music stops, and we who remain are the negative space around the person she once was. She will be sorrowfully missed by her son-in-law, Gerald, and her grandchildren Brennan, and Charlsey. In compliance with Helen's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. We thank the staff of the Westhaven and Oakview Place for their years of care and devotion towards Mom during her long decline. We are grateful that Mom is once again with Dad, where she always belonged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. My husband Tom, who was also an Air Force Major and close colleague of Jim's, and I had the pleasure of being good friends of your parents during our many years in Winnipeg. Please accept our sincere condolences. They were such fun and we always looked forward to spending time in their company. Sincerely, Barbara Crawford - Posted by: Barbara Crawford (Friend) on: Dec 19, 2016
