Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND (ROLLIE) HENRY KULLMAN Peacefully with family by his side, Roland passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital on September 24, 2016, at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his father Philip, his mother Elizabeth, and his brother William. Remaining to cherish Roland's memory are his sister Carol (Tom); his sister-in-law Joan; his niece Catherine (Ivan); and nephews, Kevin (Pam), Jonathan (Landace) and Christopher (Julie); grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Jared, Jasmine, Lukas and Maia, cousins and friends. Roland was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, March 30, 1931, to parents Philip and Elizabeth (nee Schuck) Kullman. Roland worked for Canada Post until his retirement on May 29, 1987. He was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church all of his life until 2014. He volunteered for many years at Riverview Health Centre until 2014. Roland enjoyed golfing as a member of Transcona Golf Club with his regular foursome of Bill, Doug and the late Jack Kullman. Roland enjoyed travelling on vacations to visit family including his sister Carol and family in Cold Lake, Ralston and Redcliff. He also participated in many family gatherings with his sister-in-law, nieces and nephews in Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place on September 30, 2016. Interment will take place on October 3, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home for family and friends. A memorial service will be held on October 3, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 708 McCalman Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Reverend Harold Borchardt presiding. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the medical staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital, the many health care workers from Winnipeg Home Care who assisted him over the past two years, Pastor Richard Kruesel (formerly of Holy Cross) and the staff at The Canoe Club Assisted Living Housing complex. Roland's sister, Carol, would like to extend a special thank you to immediate family residing in Winnipeg for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre Foundation or The United Way.
