MARIE PILEGAARD QUALLY (NIELSEN) Peacefully passed away on September 17, 2016 at age 91. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas. Cherishing her memory, she leaves son Arthur (Lorraine); daughters, Janet (Wes), Barbara (Mike); grandchildren, Quinn, Morgan, Jennifer, Joe and great-grandson Richard; brothers, Fred (Lillian), Erik and Harry as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends, and especially her friend Jennifer Moorland. Marie's greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, a wonderful baker and enjoyed sewing. While living in Dakota, she was active in the community, volunteering and participating in group events with the church and 4-H. When she moved to the city she enjoyed her long walks, bowling and attending her Christian lady group meetings. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Starbuck, Manitoba, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. You Did A Great Job Mom!
