Left to mourn is his beloved wife Diane, his daughters Belinda (Barrie) MacKinnon, Tammy (Donny) Peters, and Sheri (Daryl) Deyholos, his son Rick (Jenn) Thomas, his sister Dr. Jane Thomas (Dr. Paul O'Dell), his 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of the Transcona Kinsmen Club, a dedicated and respected umpire for Softball Canada and a longtime member of Ride for Sight and the Christian Motorcycle Association. Ivor's love of life will be deeply missed by all that knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors, the nurses and all the staff on the 2nd Floor of the Dauphin Regional Heath Centre for the excellent care given to Ivor and the kindness shown to us all but especially to Diane. A big thank you to Shane Neufeld at Integrity Cremation & Funeral Planning for his compassion and amazing service. Cremation has taken place and no service will be held at Ivor's request. I can't believe you passed away, I never got a chance to meet you and I wish I did. I'm sad that this happened but I'm happy you're in a better place and you're with the angels in heaven. Rest easy grandpa Ivor. - Posted by: jennifer safioles (granddaughter) on: Oct 24, 2016

Will really miss him, he always treated me so well, from when I hung out with his teenage kids and then when we lived across the street from each other when I became a kind of adult. I remember him and Diane on the bikes and looking so happy. He gave me pretty good advice at one point when I was pretty down. Will miss him so much. - Posted by: Jennifer Senenko (Old Ffiend) on: Oct 20, 2016
