CONSUELO PURIFICACION CALITIS Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Health Sciences Centre, Consuelo Calitis passed away at the age of 94 years. Consuelo was predeceased by her daughter Marilou and husband Domingo. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Herminia, Reynaldo, Gloria (Boy), Edgardo (Nene), Ofelia (Virgilio), Arceli, Maria Luz (Reynaldo), Violeta, Marcellana, Maria Luisa, 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Lola will be fondly remembered for her joy, importance and value of family. She was most happy when all the family were together. She enjoyed attending church at the Filipino United Community Church. Lamay (Viewing) will be held between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29, 2016 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral service will also be held at the chapel on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Consuelo will be taken home for further funeral services and will be laid to rest next to her husband Domingo in Imus, Cavite, Philippines.
