ALAN EDWARD JOHN CLARK January 16, 1935 - August 9, 2016 MARY JOSEPHINE CLARK (nee MCFARLANE) January 30 1939 - October 15, 2016 It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Alan and Mary Clark. Mary and Alan are survived by their sons, Peter (Heather), Tony (Christine) and daughter Deborah (Gerry). They will be lovingly remembered by their grandchildren, Brenden (Rikki), Ashlyn, Liam, Neil, Amy, Graham, Alaina, Bennett, and Ellora and great-grandson Madden. Mum and Dad emigrated from England in 1968 with their three young children. They fully embraced the Canadian lifestyle including family camping trips, fishing and enjoying winter activities. Alan was a skilled upholsterer whose career spanned 50 years. Mary was a ward clerk at HSC respiratory clinic. In more recent years they especially enjoyed time with family, overseas travel and trips to the Lake. Dad could often be found working in his garden while Mum could be found in her comfortable chair with a good book. Cremation has taken place, a celebration of their lives will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Donations in Mary and Alan's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
