AL (ADELARD) PROULX It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our dear dad, Al (Adelard) Proulx, on October 29, 2016 at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 79. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy (Blais); his parents, Laurence (Champagne) and Romeo Proulx; stepmother Clarisse (Vermette); sister Jeanette Hein; his in-laws, Malvina Raymond, Ted Blais and Martha and Albert Poels. He will be deeply missed by his children, Debbie (Norm), Jackie (Joe), Raymond (Tanya) and Ken (Irene); his grandchildren, Krystle, Colin, Micheal (Candi), Kimberley (Craig), Michelle (Ryan), Rayelle (Jessie), Joshua, Eric, Bryce, Chelsey (Carlos), Ashley (Dylan), Madi and Jayden, as well as 11 great- grandchildren; also his brothers, Marcel (Phyllis), Robert (Misty); sisters, Lena (Al) and Fleurette; many nieces and nephews; and close friend Jeff Heilman. Dad was very much a family man, nothing pleased him more than having his kids or grandchildren over for a visit. But since Mom passed two months ago, we knew he was heartbroken and needed to be with her. Although he was a very private man, we all knew the deep and great love he had for us all. He loved playing cards. He was a master at cribbage. We as a family would play cards every Friday no matter what, it was what he looked forward to every week, and if you knew him, you knew how much of a jokester he was. Celebration will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Pallbearers will be Mike, Krystle, Colin, Rayelle, Chelsey and Josh. We as a family would like to extend our thanks to the nurses, Donna and Eileen, on the 3rd floor of Concordia Hospital, for the exceptional care. When you believe beyond what your eyes can see, signs from Heaven show up to remind you love never dies. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
