RAYMOND MOROZ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Moroz on November 6, 2016. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Irene; sons, Perry (Desa) and Stacey (Liette); and grandchildren, Brianne, Gabrielle, Rhys and Alexa. Ray was born on July 5, 1937 in Rackham, Manitoba and grew up in Minnedosa. He married his sweetheart, Irene Petrynko, on September 30, 1961 in Winnipeg. He worked at CP Rail for 30 years as a machinist before retiring in 1994. Ray was a man of few words but was always there for his family whenever they needed him. He was loyal and trustworthy and took great pride in his grandchildren and their accomplishments. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family, helping his sons with projects at their homes, going for walks, meeting friends for coffee, chatting with friends at church and finding good deals at various stores and warehouses in Winnipeg. He enjoyed sports, especially curling, and never missed watching a Jets or Blue Jays game on TV. Ray will be missed by everyone who knew him. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their care and support. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. A private family interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Family and friends wishing may sign a book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
