DONALD EDWARD BRUNSEL January 6, 1935 - November 2, 2016 On November 2, 2016 after a nine month battle with cancer, Donald Edward Brunsel passed away peacefully at Riverview Heath Centre with his wife by his side. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Brunsel (nee Challes), father George Brunsel, step-mother May Brunsel (nee Johnson), brother George Brunsel, sister-in-law Terry Brunsel and sister Joyce Corlett. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years Grete, son Alan (Lesley), daughter Tammy Ford (Tommy), sister Mildred (George) Glass, brother-in-law Ray Corlett, sister-in-law Bente Ingeman and family in Denmark, grandson Michael (Melissa) Brunsel, granddaughter Catherine (Justin) Durkin, grandson Nicholas Ford and great grandchildren Jacen Brunsel, Sloanne and Everly Durkin along with numerous nephew, nieces, cousins and friends. In keeping with Donald's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Family and friends will gather privately to celebrate Donald's life. The family thanks the staff at Manitoba Homecare program, Concordia Hospital and Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Unit (E-3) for the care provided.
