JOHN ROSS MUIR With great sadness the family announces the passing of John on November 13, 2016 at St. Boniface General Hospital at 60 years of age. John was predeceased by his father John and grandmother Verna. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Betty (John); sister Debbie; nieces Diane, Amanda (Brad) and Dawn (Ash); along with numerous friends. John was a fun loving guy with a great sense of humour who lived life with a passion. He served the City of Winnipeg for over 28 years as a bus operator. John will be sadly missed and in our hearts forever. A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Pony Coral Restaurant located at 400 Wilton (Grant Park Mall). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lymphoma Society of Canada, 2 Lansing Square, suite 804, Toronto Ontario, M2J 4P8. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

  • Condolences to John's family and friends on his passing. I saw him frequently on Saturday mornings at the gym and worked with him at Transit for many years. Always looked forward to our chats. I know he was looking forward to retirement soon. Gone way too soon my friend. Will take a while not seeing him at the gym on Saturdays anymore.
