Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH MASTERTON It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Masterton on November 12, 2016 at St. Boniface Hospital. Left to cherish her memory is her son David (June), her daughter Sheila (David) and son-in-law John: grandsons Scott (Karen), Keith (Christina), Cameron, Fraser (Tamara) and granddaughter Ainsley; also great-grandchildren Brenna, Rayna, Brett, Braedon, Olivia, Madison and Brady. Mum was predeceased by her husband John in 1958 and her youngest daughter Margaret on October 19, 2016. Mum was born in Shotts, Scotland in 1920 to William and Jean Hughes and immigrated to Canada in 1966 along with her family. She continued her nursing career at the Health Sciences Centre as a Nurse's Aide and then as a Ward Clerk from 1966 to her retirement in 1984. Mum loved all family gatherings especially Christmas and birthdays. The family would like to thank home care especially Jocelyn and Trinidad and also the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, 5th Floor, especially Susie and Clayton for all the care they gave to Mum. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
