BRYAN BALONG It is with heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of Bryan Balong on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 33 years. Bryan will be lovingly remembered by his parents Nick and Estelita Balong, his daughters Brooklyn, Bria and their mom Stephanie, his brothers Brennan, Brad (Maryann), many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and numerous dear friends. Prayers will be said Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. with the gathering continuing to 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to sincerely thank all those who participated in Bryan's search to bring him home. Thank you to all those who helped, those who have left condolences, and those who still carry positive memories of him. He will always be missed, even as the years go by. He tried his hardest to be a good father to his children while working hours that changed from days to nights. He was generous towards his family, relatives, and cousins, by giving gifts and food, or allowing them to hang out even at his small place altogether. Although, I wasn't the closest to him in his life, he was an extremely thoughtful brother as the years went by, that will hopefully never be forgotten. I hope the angels continue to protect his children for him and that he finds the happiness he deserves in heaven with those who have also passed. Sending all my love and prayers to the Balong Family and Friends during this time of sadness. Bryan, you had the jokes and laugh no one can ever forget. Seems like just yesterday that we were in highschool, playing cards in the library trying not to get caught by our teachers lol, Cheering you on during basketball games...watching you make that 3pt shot!! Time for you to fly with the angels in the heavens above. You will be forever missed. Rest In Eternal Paradise my Friend. It is with heavy heart that I write this. I was so hoping for a different outcome. My condolences to the family. He was a kind and generous man. So few like him in this world.
