GEORGINA PHILLIPS (nee GAGNON) December 5, 1917 - December 10, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Georgie, on Saturday December 10, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Richard, as well as several brothers and sisters. Georgie will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law Bill and Roxanne, her brothers Reggie (Terri) Gagnon, George (Estalita) Gagnon, Sisters Annette Wishnowski, Cleone (Bill) Roussin, as well many nieces and nephews. Georgie enjoyed her special times with her many friends at the Norwood Legion, priding herself with looking her finest, ensuring her hair was perfect, and her jewelry matched. A celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home. With a reception to follow. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Georgie's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Actionmarguerite Floor 3DE, for their exceptional care.
