ALEXINA MARIE SWARBRICK (nee LANGAN) It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Zena on December 13, 2016. She is predeceased by her parents Dave and Emily Langan; brothers Albert, Archie, Fred and Dave; sisters Clara, Olive and Lewina. Left to mourn are her children Vic (Helen), Richard (Ruth), Linda and Gary; brother Wilfred (Cathy); sisters Irene and Jane; grandchildren Antony, Mona, Lisa, Lana, Jen, Serena, Travis and Linda along with 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Zena was born in Ste. Claire, Manitoba on November 24, 1920. She was born the second of 11 children. Zena moved to Winnipeg at a young age. She had many jobs that she worked hard at. All with the same intention in mind to provide her family with a good life. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart and the best Sunday Dinner's ever. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Tudor House for the wonderful care they provided for Zena. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Zena's life will be held in the spring of 2017. At that time Zena will be laid to rest with Clara, as they were always together in life. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". "Thank you for the years you gave us and for the precious times we shared.
