Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK RIX July 24, 1928 - December 26, 2016 It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Frank Rix. He is predeceased by his wife, Heidi (nee Bührer). Frank and Heidi are survived by their daughters, Barbara (Ray), Karin (Jack), and Christine (Tony). They will be lovingly remembered by their grandchildren, Nicholas (Meaghan), Alexander (Natasha), Eric (Leslie), Kyle, Liam, Neil, Amy and Thomas. Dad emigrated from England in 1967 with his wife and three young children, leaving behind his parents, siblings (Jack, Ann and Evelyn) and their families. We have many fond memories of family outings of swimming at Birds Hill Park and tobogganing and skating at Kildonan Park. Dad had many hobbies: music, carving, drawing, story writing, bird breeding and bird watching. A special thank you to the staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Dad's life on December 30, 2016. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Sympathies to Barb, Karin and Christine and their families. My memories are of our parents being good friends. Growing up I can clearly vision your father singing Jamacia Farewell. He was a kind and gentle man, and always had time to talk when we would meet. - Posted by: John Pashko (family freind) on: Dec 30, 2016

Sending heartfelt sympathies to Barb, Karin and Christine and their families. My memories are of what a kind and wonderful family the Rix's were and how much I enjoyed having them as neighbours growing up and missed them when they moved. I especially remember the many neighbourhood gatherings which always ended in singing. It was good times. - Posted by: Susan Wardekker (friend) on: Dec 30, 2016
