I worked with John back in the late 80s-90s at Guertin Bros. What I fondly remember about John was his (unique) way of telling a comical story, often side-tracking to the point of losing the story, which we absolutely found belly-busting funny (so did he), many hours in the lunchroom listening & laughing. John sold me a vehicle too when I desperately needed one, I'll never forget that 1976 Cutlass S, 2-door silver with burgundy "swivel buckets" they called the seats, big gas guzzler, but what a cool car! When I think of "Guertin Bros." time in my life, you definitely will always come to mind. You left too soon brother. Maby we'll sit at that coffee table again one day, saddened to come across this news. - Posted by: David Quesnel (Co worker ) on: Nov 11, 2017

I am so sorry for your loss. John coached me in hockey for several years with the Greendell falcons. He was very passionate about hockey and a great coach. - Posted by: Kevin Cook () on: Mar 30, 2017

I worked with John at Akzo Nobel. And I am so very sorry to hear this news. John's unique sense of humor and genuine caring made him a true friend to all. My thoughts and prayers are with you. - Posted by: Elaine (Former colleague ) on: Jan 05, 2017

I'm sorry to hear of John's passing. We worked together in the early 1970s at Norwich Union Insurance Company and had a blast! We were a work family, young and learning all the time. My condolences to his family. John was one of those nice guys. - Posted by: Rose Flaig (former collegue) on: Jan 01, 2017
