BRITTANY WARD It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our precious daughter Britt on January 15, 2017. The pain of losing her is so unbearable. She was only with us 27 short years but she made them the best of our lives. She touched so many people with her love and kindness and it is difficult to imagine not having her in our lives. Left to mourn her are her parents Sue and Mike, her brother Robbie and her precious little niece Katie, her special love Curtis and her childhood friend Kayla, her grandparents Joyce, Wes and Denise. Also left to mourn her are numerous cousins, aunts and uncles who we know loved her so dearly, not to mention the many friends she had that were truly devastated when they found out she had passed. She will be an angel to be with her grandma Lou, grandpa Don and her uncles Bob and Bill. Britt was a member of the Heather Game and Fish and spent every moment she could at our place at Lac Du Bonnet. She loved creating memories whether it be just hanging out with everyone or running kids games or fundraising by running the cook shack or taking her niece on the jet ski. She loved to laugh and it was infectious and her soul touched everyone. Britt had a great love for animals so in lieu of flowers a donation to a no kill shelter would be greatly appreciated. We miss you so much Britty! Ma & Dad Per her request, there will be a private memorial at a later date. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550

Michael and Sue, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to share the treasure that was Brittany, with you. I'll always remember the speed with which I travelled to the hospital that Sept. 17th when she was born. While I love my three handsome sons dearly, the thought of a girl finally joining our family hurtled me into ecstatic joy. As the years flew by, Brittany and I established a close bond, reading stories, watching movies, attending MTYP, creating Great-Grandma's memoir book with Hayley and of course our memorable trip to P.E.I., the land of Anne of Green Gables. The warm and fuzzy, and otherwise, recollections I have could fill many more pages than are available here. Brittany, I can't imagine, right now, a life without you in it. I'll love you forever and forever my granddaughter you will be...Love you lots, Grandma - Posted by: Joyce Ward (Paternal Grandmother) on: Jan 21, 2017

My condolences to the family and friends of Brittany. I only knew her a short while and not all that well but she was certainly a wonderful girl! Her smile and laugh were infectious and her passion for the subjects in class was unmatched. She always had something positive to say and never let anything drag her down. I wish I could have gotten to know her better, but once school was over our paths just never got the chance to cross again. Blessed be and I'm sure she is watching down on you with all the furry friends she can imagine curled up around her. - Posted by: Alyssa O (School friend. (Robertson College)) on: Jan 21, 2017

Britt you will be sorely missed. We have known you from the day you were born and watched you grow to an amazing young lady. You went through so much in such a short time but always came out with a smile. You touched everyone you met with your zest for life. So glad we got to see you after we returned from Aussie even if only for a short period of time Our memories of you will go on forever. You were so kind to everyone you've ever met and helped me through so much through the years, especially in elementary school. You will be forever missed and cherished by the many, many souls you have touched with your warm spirit. - Posted by: Nikki carruthers (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2017
