She is survived by her daughter Heather (Tim), their children Elisabeth and Emma; her son Derek (Kelly), their children Sacha Paul and Rielle; her granddaughter Kaelyn; her sister Margery and her children Lisa, Hilary and Rob, and her sister-in-law Sonia and her children Teri and Kevin. She was predeceased by her husband Jake on May 27, 2014, her son Paul on May 24, 2008, and her parents William and Marguerite Fawcett. Diane had a true gift for friendship and love for people. Her sharp wit and love of laughter helped her build lasting friendships from her early school years at St. Mary's Academy on throughout her life and career. She established deep roots in the community where she raised her family and she dedicated her life to serving others through her work in financial institutions, nurturing deep and lasting relationships with so many. Diane was a loving mother and friend who enjoyed nothing more than spending time surrounded by her family and friends. Her home and beach house were always open to friends and neighbours and she could never do enough to comfort and entertain anyone in her company. Diane will be deeply missed and fondly remembered in the laughter and love we share with each other. The Bank of Diane is now closed.
